I don’t think that there is anything I can compare to feeling of completing my last college assignment this morning. Clicking ‘submit’ on my last assignment had me jumping out of my chair and howling in celebration – The pride I feel is unmatched! These past four years have pushed me to near breaking points many times, not only with school but with the mix of a a hectic life, a career change, and overall discovering who I am and who I’m meant to be. I have persevered, I have proven not only to myself but to my peers and professors that I am capable, and I have FINISHED.

Two Dean’s List recognitions, only one class retaken, 4 long years of maintaining (almost) perfect grades, and a Graphic Design Bachelor’s degree are finally under my belt. If you told 18 year old me that I would take a 6 year “break” from school only to turn around and go after my dream degree, she would have choked on her cigarette smoke and laughed in your face. 4 years ago, I woke up wondering who I really wanted to be when I grow up. 4 years later, I still don’t know who exactly I want to be when I grow up. But I do know that anything is possible and that I am a capable woman inspired by family and friends and driven to find a place in the world.

I cannot contain the excitement I have for my future and cannot wait to see where I take this journey next!
